No telling what Tehran is really up to

The agreement reached on Tuesday with Iran is just a starting point for relations with the country, the liberal daily Göteborgs-Posten writes, arguing that there can be no telling what the Iranian government is really up to: "Is the Iranian regime now more focussed on economic development than on its hostile agenda vis-à-vis the US and Israel? Or are the negotiations just meant to lull the rest of the world into the false belief that Iran no longer represents a danger? No one outside the government building in Tehran knows the answers to these questions. ... An agreement must not be regarded as an end in itself. Rather it's a starting point, a caesura, the point of departure for future relations with Iran. If Iran fails to honour its promises the US will know it can't be trusted."
