Corriere della Sera



Corriere della Sera was Italy's most influential newspaper for many years but lost its leading position to the centre-left daily La Repubblica in 2014. Corriere is under the influence of large companies. Its publisher, the RCS Media Group, is listed on the Italian Stock Exchange, and its shareholders include Fiat, Mediobanca and Pirelli. The newspaper makes a strong distinction between its online version and the print edition. While the website mainly features news, the print newspaper also provides commentary.
