El Periódico de Catalunya

El Periódico de Catalunya was founded as a modern regional paper during the transition to democracy in 1978. Its entire content is published in both Spanish and Catalan. This centre-left daily supports the Catalan separatist movement but advocates a more moderate course than for instance El Punt Avui and Ara.
