Taraf



Taraf is a liberal quality paper owned by the brothers Başar and Savaş Arslan. After its launch in 2007 it quickly became the country's most important investigative medium. Some of Taraf's more prominent employees are accused of having close ties to the Gülen movement. In the beginning its reporting was favourable towards the government but it is now known for being critical of the government.
