Video surveillance of sex club patrons

The League of Polish Families (LPR), a right-wing clerical party which supports the conservative minority government in the Polish parliament, has called for measures which would lead to the public stigmatisation of people who visit sex clubs. Talking to Katarzyna Kolenda-Zaleska, Radoslaw Parda, a member of parliament for the LPR, explains the party's plans: "The police would see to it that anyone entering such clubs is photographed or filmed. They would then have extensive documentary evidence, and the perpetrator would know that the photos could be passed on to his friends and family. Public stigmatisation is more effective than imposing fines." Asked whether the pictures should be passed on to employers, Parda replies: "I admit I'm thinking along these lines, but I haven't yet reached a decision as to whether this should actually be done."
