Strauss-Kahn not yet acquitted

The prosecutors in the sexual assault case against Dominique Strauss Kahn in New York dropped their charges on Monday. But Strauss Kahn's problems are far from over, writes the liberal-conservative weekly Le Point, as the alleged victim is now bringing a civil action against him: "Very little will be necessary to convince a civil court of DSK's responsibility. It's enough to convince the jury that it is more likely than not that the victim was sexually assaulted to establish DSK's responsibility. With the help of her lawyers, the inconsistencies in Nafissatou Diallo's testimony will carry less weight with the jurors. As for DSK, he will have to testify under oath and be interrogated by Kenneth Thompson and Douglas Widgor. Far from an acquittal or an avowal of his innocence, the dropping of criminal charges simply means DSK faces a new set of challenges."
